It’s usually best to start by tracking one specific behaviour—especially if it's the most disruptive or concerning. Focusing on a single behaviour makes it easier to collect accurate data, identify clear patterns, and design effective interventions.
Once you have a good system in place, you can expand to track multiple behaviours, particularly if they are related or occur in clusters. Just be careful not to overwhelm yourself or others involved in data collection—clarity and consistency are key to successful behaviour tracking.
