Course Overview
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder that impacts brain development, causing persistent difficulties with attention, hyperactivity, impulsivity, emotional regulation, and executive functioning. Without adequate support, children and adolescents with ADHD often experience challenges in academic achievement, social relationships, self-esteem, organisation, and overall wellbeing.
This interactive workshop provides caregivers, educators, behaviour support practitioners, disability staff, case managers, and allied health professionals with knowledge and strategies grounded in the Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) framework. Participants will explore practical ways to support children and adolescents with ADHD to develop skills, navigate challenges, and make meaningful and lasting positive changes in their lives.
