Behaviour Help App

Your All-in-One AI Tool for
FBAs and PBS plans

You’re doing important work. That’s why we built the Behaviour Help App — to make it easier to track behaviour trends, identify patterns, and develop meaningful, person-centred strategies.

You can focus on what matters most: helping individuals thrive.

What Are the Behaviour Help App's AI Features?

Access AI-powered features through Assess, Manage, and Prevent stages to build data-driven FBAs and PBS plans.

Assess Stage - Individual Profile

  • Instantly generate a comprehensive, person-centred student behaviour profile by uploading reports, assessments, and diagnostic letters.
  • Further personalise the profile by selecting from drop-down suggestions or adding your own detailed responses.
  • Integrate profile insights in FBAs, behaviour management and prevention plans.
Individual profile

Assess Stage – Behaviour Data Collection

  • Create and share customised behaviour data forms (e.g. frequency, duration, intensity) and ABC incident reports via secure web link or QR code, allowing team-wide data entry directly into the app across settings for effective behaviour tracking.
  • Instantly converts submitted data into clear, filterable graphs and a detailed clinical summary.
  • Use PBS Chat to guide deeper analysis and clinical interpretation.
  • Export and share data type summaries to share at multidisciplinary meetings, NDIS reporting, audits, and BSP reviews.

Assess Stage – ABC Incident Reporting

  • Access a searchable incident register to view and filter reports by the child's behaviour type, date, and other key variables.
  • Instantly analyse incident data to identify behavioural trends and interpret emerging patterns.
  • Use PBS Chat to guide deeper analysis and clinical interpretation.
  • Export incident forms and clinical summaries to share during multidisciplinary meetings, NDIS reporting, audits, and BSP reviews.
hypothesis

Assess stage - Hypothesis

  • Automatically reviews inputted behaviour data to uncover triggers and reinforcement patterns.
  • Identifies the likely function of behaviour — such as escape, attention, sensory needs, access to tangibles, or self-regulation.
  • Generates hypothesis statements to support tailored, function-based interventions aligned to the individual's needs.

Manage stage - Behaviour Management Plan

  • Enables you to define number of escalation stages (e.g. mild, moderate, extreme, recovery) tailored to the individual.
  • Identifies early warning signs using clearly outlined verbal and non-verbal cues for each escalation stage.
  • Provides stage-specific response strategies to support safe, consistent and effective de-escalation.

Prevent Stage - Behaviour Prevention

  • Generates proactive strategies to create responsive environments, activities, and interactions to prevent behavioural triggers.
  • Supports the creation of skill-building plans to teach Functionally Equivalent Replacement Behaviours (FERBs) and essential life skills such as communication, social interaction, positive behaviours and daily living.
  • Enables you to generate and share goal-tracking forms via secure web link or QR code for real-time data collection by the whole team including parents.
  • Automatically compiles progress summaries to support NDIS reviews, audits, and collaborative team planning.

Ongoing Monitoring

Measure and adjust over time

This Tracking Behaviour App supports continuous monitoring to ensure your Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plan remains effective and relevant.

  • Continue reviewing behaviour data forms and ABC incident reports in the Assess stage to identify emerging patterns and triggers.
  • Track progress towards SMART goals created in the Prevent stage using shared goal-tracking forms completed across settings.
  • Instantly analyse submitted data to determine what's working and where refinements are needed.
  • Use these insights to guide ongoing adjustments and take measured, evidence-based steps toward reducing and eliminating restrictive practices.

FAQs

Does the Behaviour Help App need to be downloaded?

+

No, the app does not require downloading. It is a web-based application so you can simply open it on any device with an internet connection.

What technology can I use the app on?

+

The app is web-based so you can use it on any device that has a browser and has access to the internet. For example, a smartphone, tablet computer, laptop or desktop computer should all be suitable.

Who is The Behaviour Tracker For?

+

The Behaviour Help App’s built-in behaviour tracker is designed for anyone supporting individuals with behaviours of concern—including caregivers, teachers, special education staff, disability support workers, and more.

Whether a child is being supported across home, school, and community settings, or an adult is receiving support in residential, day program, and other community environments, the app streamlines collaboration. Its tools are built to help you efficiently assess, manage, and prevent behaviours of concern across teams and settings.

How do data collectors put data into the app?

+

The app will prompt you to add email addresses for the data collectors (colleagues, parents, care givers) that you are working with. The app will then send an email to these people with a link to fill in the incident form.

The emails will appear from 'noreply@behaviourhelp.app'.

Data collectors do not need to sign up to the app, they simply click on the link in the email, enter the required data, save, and submit it. Once submitted, the data is automatically recorded in the app.

How much does the app cost?

+

The app is priced per individual you support. If you support 1 individual, the app would cost $195 AUD per year including GST. If you support 10 users, the app would cost $1,950 AUD per year including GST.

Will data collectors need to pay to use the app?

+

No, data collectors do not have to pay for the app.

The person who subscribes to the app can create online data collection forms to track behaviour and progress toward goals. These online forms can be completed by individuals supporting the person in various settings, including parents, teachers, support staff, and other stakeholders.

Does the app take up space on my phone or device?

+

No, it doesn’t take up any space. The app is web-based, meaning you access it through your browser rather than downloading it. Since nothing is installed on your device, it won’t use up storage.

Does the app need regular updates?

+

No, updates aren’t needed on your end. Because it’s a web-based app, we handle all updates and security improvements for you.

Every time you log in, you're automatically using the latest version—no manual updates required. This also helps reduce cellular data usage.

How does the Behaviour Help App use AI while ensuring data privacy and confidentiality?

+

The Behaviour Help App uses AI to analyse behaviour data entered by users, providing personalised behaviour assessments based on the information supplied. The AI does not generate its own data or share sensitive information.

To ensure confidentiality: please refer to information in our privacy policy and terms and conditions.
